Speed is not just a word. It’s a way of life. Were you born in 1998/99? Will you be competing in U17 races next year? Do you dream about training and racing just like the pros?
If so, we have just the thing for you: As a Canyon Young Hero you will ride and represent your local region while we provide you with the equipment you need for a whole year. You’ll get everything from team kit to a brand new, high-performance carbon race bike – just like our professional riders. But that’s not all. At a training camp in Mallorca early in the year you’ll have the opportunity to meet all your new teammates and carry out intense training under expert supervision to lay down the foundations for the coming season.
Your Ride: The Canyon Ultimate CF SL 9.0
Light weight, stiffness and speed all combine together towards one target: forward propulsion. The new Ultimate CF SL 9.0 gives riders a huge boost due to its direct power transfer, sharp handling and smooth ride. With its slender tubing, free flowing form and seamless integrated cable routing, this bike looks born to race. Each bike will sport an exclusive Young Heroes design and will be tailored to each rider’s position as well as being equipped with the appropriate gear ratios for youth category racing.

Investing in the Future: The Canyon Young Heroes
Cycling embodies passion and Canyon embodies cycling. Back in 2008 we set up the Young Heroes initiative to help support 15 young racers. Since then our Young Heroes programme has gone from strength to strength and each year we receive even more applications from riders between the ages of 14 and 16. The aim of this initiative is to encourage the young cyclists that will shape the future of our sport and give them the step-up they need so that they might one day make it into the professional ranks.
